Korea’s (G)I-DLE is coming to Manila
K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE is set to perform for fans in the Philippines in June, the group announced Tuesday on its social media accounts.
The 6-member multinational group will play in Manila on June 13 as part of its “I-Land: Who Am I” world tour. The venue, however, has not been announced.
Formed by Cube Entertainment, (G)I-DLE debuted in May 2018 with the song “Latata.”
The band is composed of Korean members Miyeon, Soojin, and Soyeon, Thai member Minnie, Chinese member Yuqi, and Taiwanese member Shuhua.
The sextet has proven to be one of the most up-and-coming acts in South Korea, bagging several awards for rookie groups in various year-end K-pop award shows.
